Early in his career Adam Awan founded a tech startup, contracted for Google, was a managing consultant for Colnaghi, the world’s oldest art gallery, was CTO for a medical startup, and built monitoring systems for a top statistical arbitrage firm.
But some days spending 10 hours sat at a computer, the effects on his body & mind racked up: back & neck pain, insomnia, digestive & sinus problems, inflammation, allergies, frequent colds, brain-fog, anxiety & mild depression.
Adam sought help in Western medicine and was told he would forever need to manage symptoms with drugs. Not content with this, he pursued the alternatives and eventually found what worked.
Healing his mind, body and spirit, he wanted to help others do the same. He trained extensively in the approaches that had helped him: authentic Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Biohacking, supplements and nutrition. He joined forces with a functional medicine doctor & a top psychiatrist and has helped 1000’s of people revitalise their lives.
Adam holds a BSc in Computer Science from King’s College London University. He scored in the 97th percentile on the GMAT exam and in the 99th percentile on the verbal section. He trained in Yoga with his Guru, Sri Kamal Nayan, from the Himalayas, and is as a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher. He has 11 years experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the world leading London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). He is an associate of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH). He has trained around the world and is a master of Conversational Hypnosis. Adam studied the ancient Vedic Life Sciences, called Ayurveda, with Dr Apte, and Dr Vasant Lad, who brought Ayurveda to the West.
Adam works in private practice at the A1 Vital centre in Chelsea, London and works with clients around the world.
