Charlie is the UK Director for A21, an international anti-trafficking organisation working to abolish the injustice of modern slavery by reaching the vulnerable, rescuing victims and restoring survivors.
Previous to this, Charlie’s professions have involved working with a variety of marginalized client groups, including the homeless, offenders, domestic violence victims, people with substance misuse difficulties and mental health issues. Over this time she studied and gained a first class honours degree in ‘Informal Education, Youth Work and Community & Social Development.’
Charlie is passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless, reaching out to the hurting, and advancing social justice in the UK and around the world.
P.S She also drinks an awful lot of coffee, loves exploring new cities and enjoys the outdoors!
