Background:
Satria Yoga was first inspired by Guru Ma in 1999, who believed that it was important for everyone to learn self defence in this modern age. All postures derive from Penchak Silat, an ancient SE Asian martial art and can also be used for self-defence, but are trained without the combative element. The 144 postures that make up the Satria Yoga system are performed in a dynamic flow of jurus (sets of movements) and will focus on improving your biomechanics whilst building muscular strength, endurance and mobility.
