Emma is a body worker, yoga teacher (trained in various styles) and emotions mentor coach, and has grown up with essential oils in her world. However, she did not notice how powerful these small bottles of pure oils were for the emotional and wellness benefits until she used them one day in class. These pure doTERRA oil’s helped Emma herself connect deeper to practice and meditation, and when she offered up oil’s in class one day, the yogi’s feedback on their practice being something completely different, “a deeper level of connection”, led to Emma running yoga and oil aroma workshops in Scotland, and is now delving deeper into workshops on mind health, wellness and oils.
Using doTERRA essential oils came naturally, due to their purity, the alignment with the company ethos, and their wonderful pre blended emotional oils. The fact they are natural products from the earth, and work beautifully with each individuals body and cells to bring them the benefits they need combines wonderfully with the equally healing modality of yoga. Kundalini is an ancient practice that enables everyone to develop the wisdom and strength to manage the pressures and challenges of life today and to become all they can be. It is a holistic, spiritual and meditative form of yoga, combining postures with breathing techniques and mantra chants.

 

This meditation session is designed to release and circulate energy and achieve a calm mind. It starts with a short introduction to Kundalini followed by a quick body loosen up, then three meditations and finally some closing words and a group chant to seal the practice.

 

If you have never meditated, this will be a great introduction. If you find it hard to meditate, you will learn some simple and effective techniques. If you have been meditating for years, you will love this!

Yin Yoga and Poetry

In a world where we muscle through things and everyone is over-scheduled, we rarely give ourselves permission to just sit and be. In this yin yoga class, Andy will play music and read poetry to create a safe nurturing space for you to unwind and reconnect with your true self.

Yin is a slower practice, in which floor poses (typically held for 3 to 5 minutes) target the connective tissue of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. Harmony and wellbeing are obtained as the energetic pathways in the body are opened, releasing blockages and allowing chi or prana to flow freely.
