Cheri L. Sotelo is a San Francisco native that has taken her corporate savvy and seventeen years of higher education across eight degree programs, twenty-six certifications, five clinical licenses and two state commissions to create a whole-person approach to health, wellness, personal and professional development to exciting new levels.
Cheri is a licensed mental health therapist in the State of Nevada. With training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate School, Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University and
Health Psychology from Northcentral University, she maintains the most up-to-date evidence-based practices in all three branches of psychology and applies it in every facet of daily existence.
Her most recent work, “The Faces of Illness: Badass Beauties Vol I,” utilizes her distinct knowledge and certifications in Holistic Health Coaching, Clinical Nutrition Counseling, and over two decades of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, to unlock the beauty that lays dormant behind chronic and terminal illness. This coffee table art book is a photography series that highlights a variety of medical conditions through the iconic work of Celebrity Hair and Makeup Artist, Christopher Montoya and Photographer, Jason Harper. Cheri is excited to follow-up with the biographical accompaniment, “The Face of Illness: True Stories of Living Beautifully Through Pain.”
Launching specifically for the 2023 EXPO, Cheri has teamed up with Garret Kolb, to author, “Build Your Dream Team: Executive Leadership Design Through Psychological Principals.” As one of Cheri’s executive coaching clients, GK Managed Properties, highlights the importance of
business success and professional development through positive psychology to understand the psychology of business and consumers.
