Fernando Garibay is a record producer, songwriter, artist/ DJ, entrepreneur, academic, and polymath. He was the official musical director of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball and Executive Producer of her Born This Way album. Garibay has written, produced, and creatively directed for several artists; including Lady Gaga, U2, Whitney Huston, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Shakira, Paris Hilton, and many more.

Fernando, formerly an executive, producer, and artist at Interscope Records; spent over a decade as part of the in-house creative team at Interscope, under the mentorship and direction of Jimmy Iovine, ultimately rising to be the chief producer. Fernando is also the founder and CEO of The Garibay Institute and Center; which aims to instill creativity frameworks and orthogonal thinking to achieve higher levels of performance with global leaders in corporate, academic, finance and entertainment, and policy.

Fernando is a mentor at several startup accelerators such as Gener8tor, Titletown Tech, et al. Fernando is also a guest lecturer at Harvard University (Harvard Business School) and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
