Bernadette Russell is a writer and performer and has created work for National Theatre, Southbank Centre, Birmingham Rep, Thames Festival, National Trust, English Heritage, BFI and LIFT Festival amongst many others. She is currently making a new theatre show for the Royal Albert Hall. Her work
is about collecting, curating and writing stories, the aim being to increase compassion and kindness through the arts. For her on going project 366 Days Of
Kindness she was chosen as one of the Southbank Centre’s 67 Changemakers, and this year was chosen as one of the recipients of People United’s Be Kind
Signs in recognition of her work. Her children books are published by Quarto and her new book for adults “The Little Book of Kindness” is published by Orion. She is a columnist for Balance magazine.
