Laura Butler, Managing Director and lead trainer of Fusion Consulting (Jamaica & Dallas TX), has
over 20 years of experience in the field of Business Consulting, Human Resources and Training, and
15 years in sports management & youth development. She has been invited to speak at events in
over 15 countries. She is an author, motivational speaker, philanthropist, business owner, and a
private consultant to several leaders in the USA, Europe, Canada, and the wider Caribbean. She
has worked with individuals, multiple startups, small businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations
and seen great success. She is the Best You Legacy Club Director for Dallas TX and a co-founder
of a non-profit, born 17 years ago designed to better prepare young people for the world of work. This
program is being considered for implementation in the Independent School District (ISD)Texas.
She is a certified SCORE mentor, which is the largest resource partner to the US Small Business
Association and the US Chambers of Commerce, offering free and confidential business advising
to entrepreneurs and small business owners for over 50 years. She has been a newspaper
columnist and editorial contributor for over a decade for leading publications in Jamaica, such as ‘The
Jamaica Gleaner’. She has been a regular guest on a variety of radio, TV programs, and business
podcasts. She has been working with some of the leading companies in Texas and Jamaica, servicing a
diverse clientele influencing the growth of companies and employees in the areas of Brand/Service
Culture, Finance, Insurance, Tourism, Government, Manufacturing, Publishers, Distribution,
Telecommunications, Technology, Education, Sports, Auditing and Law.
Laura is an adjunct lecturer at The University of the West Indies and The University of
Technology. She also serves as a consultant to the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean
(UCC). She has a 100% success rate for helping candidates to secure the UK Chevening, US
Fulbright, and Rhodes Scholarship. She has spent decades helping young professionals and athletes
to achieve their best and accomplish their goals.
Laura has served on multiple boards with a focus on Protection & Rights, Business Development,
Education, Poverty Reduction, and Environment Protection. Her areas of expertise are Professional
Development Training and Human Resources. Her training programs include, Personal Brand,

Laura owned the Miss World franchise for Jamaica and revamped the competition to include full
educational scholarships, implemented a job placement program, and initiated life skills and business
training. She led 6 different production teams with a live TV broadcast to over 26 countries with a
live online feed. She works closely with charities and special needs. She was able to build the first
model autistic classrooms in the history of Jamaica through collaborated efforts at the McCam Child
Care and Development Center in 2015.
