Thembani Thokozile Munyanyi (MA, BA Hons French, Dip. Ed) is a 39 year- old female multi- lingual Communicator and Education and Development Practitioner. Languages spoken include English (C2), French (C1), Shona, Ndebele, and Portuguese (B1). A keen learner and an innovative team player, her objective is to secure a challenging position in Education and Development as this will allow her to make a positive difference towards the lives of women in her country, continent and worldwide.
Thembani is the fourth born in a family of five children. She was born in Hartley and educated in Kwekwe.
An avid student of French at high school, she decided to pursue a Diploma in Education in French and English at Hillside Teachers College and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in French from the University of Zimbabwe. She also holds a C1 DALF diploma and a Masters in Development Studies.
A proud mother of two girls, Okalani (14) and Kayla (11), she is also an avid reader and a social commentator who works closely with disadvantaged children in society in her spare time.
Thembani’s teaching experience spans for over 19 years. She has attended both regional and international workshops on teaching French and has taught English and French at Speciss College, The French School of Harare and Alliance Française de Harare. She has also lectured Communication and French at Belvedere Technical Teachers College.
